See you trackside.

Queanbeyan Leagues Club Boxing day Races was again a great day for the entire Queanbeyan Community. Family and school reunions were the main feature as many old and new Queanbeyanittes revisited the old course to catch up and enjoy a beer or two.

This year saw a record gate, bar takings and oncourse tote. The Club received a massive amount of positive feedback making the day one of the best yet!!! Our thanks again to the Queanbeyan Leagues Club for sponsoring this great community event.

Local Winners included Pradier trained by Julia Ceely, Reason To Believe trained by Jenny Hoy and McGovern trained by Tom Wilson.

See you at the next race meeting on Publican's Purse Day, Saturday 28 January.

The wet weather in Queanbeyan on Boxing Day didn't dampen the spirits of racegoers this year. We ran 4 races including the Queanbeyan Leagues Club Iron Bell before visibility became too poor for the jockeys forcing the stewards to cancel the remaining race and the trial. Locals horses took out 2 of the 4 races run on the day. Congratulations go to John Borham with Vee Eight Sixty and Michael Sparrow with Strada Time.
